Northeast Addiction and Mental Health Centre for Holistic Recovery (NAM) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing integrated addiction treatment that is evidence-based and trauma-focussed. Our director is Dr. Gill who is a board-certified addiction medicine specialist with advanced training in several forms of psychotherapy to augment the existing treatment programs available.

Complex trauma and addiction are intimately linked. Complex trauma typically involves a series of negative events together with wounds of attachment. Typically, patients with complex trauma will manifest a myriad of symptoms like treatment resistant anxiety, depression, and a variety of other obsessions, in addition to addiction. We help patient’s address these by taking an interdisciplinary team-based approach that involves multiply modalities of treatment.
